JPA: Online meeting with partners from Turkey with topic the Renewable Energy Sources

JPA’s Managing Partner, Mr. Andreas Patsis, with the Senior Partner, Mr. Giorgos Alekou, and the Business Development Manager, Ms. Katerina Xinogalou, in a teleconference with our partners from the Turkey office with central topic of renewable energy sources (RES) and investment incentives. The discussion was about huge projects in new technologies and environmentally friendly energy infrastructures, but also the legal coverages required as well as the procedures.

Renewable energy is energy produced from renewable, non-fossil, energy sources that are naturally replenished on the time scale of human lifetimes. Both production and consumption of renewable energy in the EU have increased.

The 44.3% of the €30 billions budget of Recovery Fund projects is related to the green transition, excluding investment in the form of public works, public-private partnerships (PPPs) and contracts concession.

At the same time, at the level of the European Union, it is estimated that additional public and private investments of 520 billion euros will be required, annually, until 2030.

With these data, companies are stepping up their investments in technologies and energy infrastructures that ensure a limited environmental footprint.
