
Ioannis Patsis, trainee lawyer of JPA, got accepted into the University of Oxford, Worcester College. In this particular university, the subject of study is Corporate Law, an area that JPA has established in its 30-year history. Ioannis Patsis had a full schedule, wherein he actively participated in all the Lawyers level lectures while also undertaking excellent presentations in his chosen department. In addition, as the only Greek who was accepted, in relation to his knowledge and origin, he was assigned to give a lecture to the participants of the program in the presence of professors from the University of Oxford. The lecture was about the “Legal System of Ancient Greece and how it has influenced the Modern Structure of the American System”. For this lecture, he received praise from the law professor of the program, Ms. Shufan Li, who rewarded him for his commendable work as well as his speech orchestration throughout the lecture.
